Model cognitive apprenticeship-mentoring: sebuah sintesis konseptual untuk pengembangan kompetensi vokasional

Abstract

Artikel ini mengusulkan kerangka kerja integratif yang mensinergikan teori Cognitive Apprenticeship (CA) dan teori mentoring karir untuk pengembangan kompetensi vokasional yang holistik di era modern. Melalui studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis konseptual, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi titik konvergensi dan komplementaritas antara kedua pendekatan. Hasilnya adalah model Cognitive Apprenticeship-Mentoring (CAM) yang terdiri atas empat fase dinamis: pemodelan terintegrasi, pembinaan kontekstual, artikulasi-refleksi berbasis dialog, dan eksplorasi karir. Model ini tidak hanya memperkuat transfer keterampilan teknis dan kognitif, tetapi juga memperhatikan dimensi psikososial, identitas profesional, serta adaptabilitas karir. Implementasinya menuntut kolaborasi antara pendidikan vokasi, industri, dan konseling karir, serta transformasi peran pendidik dan pembimbing menjadi mentor-cognitive coach. Kerangka CAM diharapkan dapat menjawab tantangan sistem vokasional yang terfragmentasi dan membentuk keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan.
