Merekonstruksi konseling vokasi melalui integrasi socio emotional learning dan kecerdasan emosional

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis secara kritis keterbatasan paradigma konseling vokasi yang masih didominasi pendekatan teknis-transaksional dan berorientasi penempatan kerja. Berdasarkan tinjauan konseptual sistematis, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dinamika dunia kerja abad ke-21 menuntut lulusan yang tidak hanya terampil secara teknis, tetapi juga adaptif, tangguh, dan memiliki kecakapan sosio-emosional yang matang. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini mengusulkan rekonstruksi paradigma konseling vokasi melalui integrasi prinsip-prinsip Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) dan kecerdasan emosional sebagai fondasi inti. Argumen teoretis dibangun dengan mensintesis teori karir kontemporer, model kecerdasan emosional, dan kerangka SEL untuk menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kapasitas intrapersonal dan interpersonal merupakan prasyarat bagi kesiapan kerja yang berkelanjutan. Implikasinya, peran konselor perlu bertransformasi dari placement officer menjadi developmental facilitator, dengan kurikulum layanan yang menginternalisasi pengembangan kompetensi sosio-emosional secara sistematis dan terintegrasi dalam ekosistem sekolah vokasi.
